An excellent team all-round performance from this combined Year 12 and Year 13 team brought together to compete against 1st X1s in the Gibbs Cup.. Blue Coat defended well as a unit, limiting Charters to half chances. Antonio Jones broke the deadlock mid-way through the first half, but Charters managed to re-establish themselves in the game with a smartly taken goal after possession was surrendered in midfield.

A full time the game was settled with penalties. Blue Coat coverted all but one spot kicks whilst Shahwaiz Adeel proved a barrier stopping 3 consecutive penalties.
