A tough day out for the 3rds in which we struggled to find any form of cohesion. Wellington hit the post twice early doors and were putting us under a lot of pressure. We made it to half time 0-0 but after the break wellington finally got in behind and scored. Our midfield worked hard to supply the front 3 however we failed to link up effectively and were too sloppy in possession. We failed to capitalise on a few brilliant freekicks from will T. A few near misses and then wellington scored again to seal the deal. All in all not our finest day at the office on the attacking front. The defence put up a good fight but much more work rate will be needed from the midfielders and strikers next week to support them against a strong Marlborough side.
