An important confidence building first win of the season for the 2nd X1. Blue Coat took charge during a frantic first half after initially conceding a goal from a corner. A quick-fire hat-trick from Max Lambert, along with goals from Ruben Wallis-Robinson and Dom Carpenter led to Blue Coat taking a commanding 5-1 lead into half time.

Blue Coat continued to dominate possession in the second half. However, with Blue Coat stepping of the gas and passing up chances, and MCS proving much more clinical in front of goal, the game unexpectedly tightened in the final stages.
