A fine performance and result to end the season. Blue Coat started the game in a hurry scoring four goals in the first 20 minutes. With the keeper out of position Dom Carpenter found he had the magic touch, converting two half chances from over thirty yards and two other chances in style.

Although Marlborough scored two late goals, the game had somewhat ended as a contest by this point. Thank you to all players who represented the 2nd X1 for the efforts in a positive season.
