V St Edward’s

The game kicked off at a fast pace and Blue Coat defended well absorbing pressure and then starting to build constructive attacks. Blue Coat were rewarded with a try by Will Benjamin after a dominant period in the first half.

Teddies scored an early try at the beginning of the second half levelling the score to 5-5. Blue Coat went down to 14 players soon after and St Edward’s made the most of their large squad scoring several more tries. All fifteen players played well. Will Benjamin, Luca Lavagnilio and Ollie Preston were outstanding with Aaran Kamalandran making some good runs. In the backs Dom Carpenter played well as a play maker, Christian Cotter and Rupert Jelly made some crunching tackles.
