Despite the end result, a really encouraging performance from the side. The lineout functioned excellently, both in attack and defence with the work from Brighton and pre-season clear to see. RBC were competive throughout as Paddy Wisener led from the front and Jack Brand kicked the team into some excellent positions to launch attacks from, as well as impeccable goal kicking. A mad 5 minutes before HT saw RBC concede 21 points but the second half dominance saw the lead cut with RBC moving the ball more freely allowing Harvey Herbert to cut through gaps with regularity.
