Defence truly defined the game, as every RBCS player stepped up to challenge their opposite number, making crucial tackles throughout. Unfortunately, Magdalen managed to break through and scored two tries in the first half, one of which went unconverted. This left RBCS with a lot to do in the second half. Despite a spirited comeback that included a well-deserved converted try, RBCS couldn't keep Magdalen from scoring once more.
Defensive strength was the highlight, with George, Henry, Oliver, and Josh showcasing outstanding communication, tackling power, Their efforts were crucial in maintaining team resilience and putting pressure on the opposition.
Player of the Match was awarded to Isaac for his phenomenal contributions: powerful runs, dominance in ruck situations, and effective jackaling and counter-rucking kept RBCS competitive throughout the match.
