After a slow start, the boys put together a number of good phases of play which resulted in a driving mall try for Oli Preston and followed by Luca Lavagnilio diving over from sustained pressure at the ruck. Oli Preston then scored his second with a 80 metre sprint under the sticks. The defensive effort held the score at 26-17 in the first half thanks to Joe Wooldridge.

Magdalene put the team under immense pressure early in the 2nd half and it told as they scored a number of tries. Oli Arnold lit up the attack with a great solo run beating 4 defenders and Josh Lerner finished a well placed Max lambert chip and chase to close the game out.
