The boys had a journey to RGS Worcester where they looked to progress through to the quarter finals of the ISFA shield. After a high intensity warm up the boys came out firing putting themselves 4-0 up within the first 25 minutes. Blue Coat were able to dismantle the Worcester defence with intricate passing around their box. Reinvented striker Zambon was at the heart of this as he got on the end of 2 beautiful moves. Blue Coat continued their domination but a lapse in focus saw them give the ball away, this loss of possession was punished by Worcester, this resulted in the boys heading into half-time at 4-1. Once again Blue Coat hit Worcester early as two sublime strikes from Agar saw Blue Coat increase the lead to 6-1. Blue Coat cruised through the rest of the second half as Lee got on the score sheet and Zambon completed his hat-trick in emphatic style as he glided past 3 defenders and slotted it into the corner. A well rounded performance saw Blue Coat win 8-1. The boys are now preparing for the ISFA Boodles Cup where they face Repton away in the round of 16 next Tuesday.
