The 2nd’s netball team took on their first opponents of the season, The Marist School. Overall, taking into consideration we had never played as a full team before, the match play was really encouraging, with the whole team working together well to get the ball into the D. Sophie F shot some amazing goals from far out, with Sakura and Sophie K moving well within the D throughout the match. The centre court player exceptionally, as well as our defence making some good interceptions whilst pressuring the opponents. All the girls left on a high and excited for the season, despite the 27 - 17 loss. Player of the match was Ella Presswell.
