RBC 19 - 66 St Albans
Tries: Wisener, B Pawson, R Wallis-Robinson
POTM: Laurence Walker - some thunderous second half tackles gave the team moments of inspiration upon which to build.
A tough outing against a side boasting three England U18 players alongside other academy players proved too much for the team to handle. In fairness, the age group players were very good at rugby, with the 10 exceptional, but the willingness to keep going and to ‘win’ the second half 19-14 was testament to the character shown. Other notable mentions go to Jacob Isaacs who had a strong game on the wing and to the scrummage, where the forwards were in the ascendancy. The first catch and drive try finished by Reuben Wallis-Robinson also showed the developing technical play.
