Central Independent Schools League Marlborough 2 RBCS 3 Scorers: Alfie, Luca 2 POTM: Charlie, Henry Mendo A second win in 4 days for the 1st XI, and it was well deserved. Blue Coat dominated the 1st half, pushing Marlborough back through Henry Ms long passes and probing runs from the front 3 of Luca, Henry J and Rohan. In a very physical match, our midfield was more than capable of dealing with the challenge, with Charlie impressing. The back 4 dominated possession and goals from Alfie and Luca gave us a 2-1 half-time lead. The game became scrappy in the 2nd half, but Blue Coat still dominated as we created 4 or 5 clear opportunities. Luca converted one to stretch our lead, but a Marlborough 2nd led to a nervy finish.
