Penalties: Harry Millard

Player of the match: Harry Millard created both tries by putting in two audacious cross field kicks to get the ball into the wide spaces when we were struggling to get it there through the hands. He also scored the winning points with a last play penalty kick at goal. This took nerves of steel and was a great example of performing a closed skill under extreme pressure.

Honourable mention: Cyrus Bajaj for scoring his first try in two years.

Finn Briggs and Sammy Maffin are also deserved of a mention for their outstanding work in the tight. Both players always gained yards with ball in hand and were instrumental in putting the team on the front foot.

After a two week break this was a well earned win, and although we dominated both possession and territory, a few basic errors and some sluggishness meant that we didn’t take full advantage of this. This being said, it was certainly a memorable win for the U15As.
