MoM : Charlie Allnutt - some outstanding fielding of kicks and attacking play which gave the team a real boost.

A terrific opening spell saw RBC race into a 14-0 lead which was a huge confidence booster for the team on a high profile night. MTs hit back before HT to reduce the deficit and then pinned RBC back into our own half with some good kicking to space to ensure they built pressure to, unfortunately, overtake on the scoreboard late on.

Other notable mentions must go to the forwards where the lineout was the best of the season thus far with Ollie Matthews excellent in the air. In the backs, the hastily put together centre partnership of Dylan Baker and Brandon Kingsbury provided a solid midfield defence, again the best of the season thus far.

Overall, a gutsy display, falling agonisingly short.
