Player of the match: Richard Deeks

An excellent performance by the U13Bs. Some wonderful build up play, playing through the thirds of the pitch accompanied by some tenacious tackling, were the ingredients behind a deserved win. Byron produced some fine saves when called upon, but the main action was in the Caldicott half. Richard Deeks was calm in a defensive midfield role, starting attacks and Finn Briggs along with Benji caused problems for the opposition throughout the game. A very pleasing first performance of the season.
