Match Report
Reading Blue Coat School Boys-U16A vs  Park House School
On: Monday, 09 Mar 2020
Venue: at Home

Result: Won 5 - 1

Goal Scorers: Tom Dexter, Sam Hawes, Harry Wardle (pen), Theo Trood, Sam Hodgson

Man of the Match: Jack Webb for causing havoc every time he was on the ball, for pressing the defence into mistakes, and for making runs that created space for others.

Honourable mentions: Captain Harry Wardle, Felix Johnston and Daniel Burgess for a dominant midfield display that took the game away from the opposition in the first half.

This was the last home game this year group will ever play together, and they signed off in style. A completely dominant first half saw a great solo effort goal for Tom Dexter, a lovely finish from Sam Hawes following some slick passing, and a comfortable penalty for Captain Wardle end this match as a real contest.

The second half was played at a slower tempo but the substitutions added some late energy with a drilled finish from Theo Trood (his first touch of the game) and a looping header from Sam Hodgson completing the scoring.

The boys march into the semi-finals.
