RBCS U14’s Lost 0-2 AGS

The 1st game of the season as a result wasn’t good, but I was pleased with the performance considering we only had 2 training sessions during the week.

Some really good performances from my Man of the match Arnav who saved some important goals even though he let 2 in which were scramble goals. The back 4 worked nicely with Seb,Sam,Jacob and Ben as we have a platform to work with.

The game it self was disappointing in the first half as we did find it half any control of the game. AGS had the better first half as we let a soft corner in with a scramble header to go 1-0.

The second half we controlled the midfield better with Sharma and Ed who started to pass the ball wide to our wingers Paddy, Harrison, and play some lovely touches with Toby. We started to have some impact in the game. We were pressing better and managed to hit the post from Ed and couldn’t follow in to score. AGS managed to counter attack us and we didn’t have enough energy for some of our boys to defend which we let another goal in to go 2-0 down.

Over all I’m pleased with the performance, even though we lost. We can work harder with boys and will come back stronger next game.
