1st XV celebrated a fantastic achievement of beating Marlborough College in the Natwest Plate 1st round. Every year, the U15's have lost to Marlborough College in the u15 Natwest Cup, so many of the 1st XV players had endured this history of playing a big power house School of rugby and never winning. However, this was the first time of being on the winning end and the 1st XV thoroughly deserved the win. 15-15 at half time, the game was so close and could have gone either way. However, the sheer determination and belief from all the players proved how much they wanted the win and gave it their all in the 2nd half. The defence held strong with players throwing their bodies on the line to defend the try line, despite numerous attacks from Marlborough.

Final Score 27-15 and a 2nd round at home, against Pangbourne after half term.
