Reading Blue Coat School Boys-U15C vs  Reddam House School
On: Saturday, 16 Mar 2019
Venue: Away

RBC U15C 8 - 0 Reddam House B

Scorers: Hadnett (4) Scourfield (2), Amjid, Donovan

The mighty Cs took five minutes to find their feet and composure before beginning to move the ball around quickly and confidently. We had opted to play with the strong wind behind us initially, but Redham House defended stoically and kept the first half score down to just 1-0 to RBC, a headed goal by George Hadnett being the only difference. In the second period RBC converted all their procession and pressure into some goals at last, with three more for George Hadnett, two solo efforts from Issac Scourfield, one for Matt Donovan and the goal of the match from Sultan Amjid, a 20+ metre strike!. The goal difference could have been even larger had the RBC forwards understood and adhered to fifa law 11 - off-side :-).

As always, the mighty C's defence were solid, especially Ben Pyne and Richmond Abbey-Quaye who also created attacking moves from their supporting runs down each wing. A special mention for Tom Diaper, who for 80 minutes of the match had little to do in goal, but retained his focus when called upon to keep a clean sheet with saves and clearances. A strong performance by the mighty Cs.
