Won 8-0

Scorers: Webb 3, Babcock, Wardle, Hawes, Sandhu & Johnston

Celebrity mention: Dan Burgess - excellent display at both CDM and centre-back when any opposition attacks were efficiently dismantled and turn into positive possession.

The U15s started the season in imperious fashion with an 8-0 over, an admittedly below strength, AGS side. Nevertheless, AGS were restricted not having a single shot on goal demonstrating how efficient Dan Burgess and fellow CDM Nik Sandu were.

The team kept possession well as RBCS built confidence in playing out from the back and maintaining possession and probing to find attacking situations. It only took 2 minutes before Jack Webb crashed the ball against the bar from a cross from the excellent Jai Dhaliwel but Jack wasn't to finish the afternoon disappointed as he scored two in the final quarter to gain an opening day -trick.

Possession was pretty much all RBCS but to opening the scoring it took a curling effort from Nik Sandu to go 'top bins' to get the team settled. An excellent team goal followed from Harry Wardle, who had a very strong game in central midfield and the team continued to push team work over individuality to create a myriad of chances to see Andrew Babcock get on the score sheet.

The final quarter saw AGS's heads go down with RBCS scoring 4 in the last 15 minutes but the performance was built on a steadfast midfield and defensive operation.

MUCH greater challenges lie ahead but overall, an excellent start.
