Match Report
Reading Blue Coat School Boys-U14B vs  Reddam House School
On: Tuesday, 25 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

On a sunny Tuesday afternoon RBCS’ preparation before the game probably cost them the game. RBCS were on the back foot for most of the first half and were slightly intimidated by the opposition, who were in fairness mainly U15’s. Reddam capitalised on this and used their strong runners to score 3 tries and one conversion meaning they went 17-0 down in to the half time break.

The second half was a different story. RBCS came out fighting and played some great rugby, utilising the forwards and the width of the pitch to pull Reddam from touchline to touchline. Lewis Main and Callum Lochhead scored our tries. RBCS were unfortunate as they conceded against the run of play, which took their momentum out of the game.

Once RBCS started to play they showed some excellent rugby. It was just a shame that they did this in the second half and not from the start.
