Tiffin 38: 5 Blue Coat

This was definitely a game of two halves. Battling hard against a strong Tiffin side, the second half was full of tackles and battles, strong running and great support from the Blue Coat team, but loose first half performance meant that we went into it 38-5 points down! Focusing on the 0-0 in the second half, there is a lot to take away that is positive.

Once again, Jason Rowley showed real bravery in the tackle, ensuring players simply didn't get past him. Ed Verstringhe worked away at 9, tackling and trying to burrow his way through the opposition. The front row had a strong game too, while Shreeram and Callum both made some great tackles from second row. Toby Markham, playing at 15 for the first time, was steady under the high ball (and they kicked a lot) and did some great work running at them. We have swift legs and just need to release them a little earlier, run straight and clean up in the rucks.

One more game, home next week to MCS at 12pm. Our final chance to play with our hearts in the oven and heads in the fridge, boys!
