Venue: at Home

RBCS 0 – 31 Aylesbury

RBCS had a tough start to the game. Despite some very physical tackling from W. Price and C. Melhuish, Aylesbury’s quick pick and go tactic saw two very early tries in the game. RBCS managed to spread the ball well, stretching the defence of the opposition. Aylesbury went into the break leading 24-0.

RBCS regrouped and started the second half with all guns blazing. Contesting in the ruck, gaining several turnovers and stealing four possessions in the scrummage. Credit to the forwards and hooker O. McMillan for a fantastic scrummaging performance. Only conceding 7 points in the second half saw the u14's close the game at 31-0 with plenty of work-ons and positives to take into next Tuesdays fixture.
