On: Saturday, 12 Oct 2019
Venue: at Home

The 2nd XV, once again, played attractive, attacking rugby to gain a solid victory against a good Churcher's College side. On a wet, grey Saturday morning the 2nd XV were rays of sunshine playing with commitment and a high tempo. Captain, Harry Williams, lead by example and scored the first try which was converted by George Waghorn. Tom Watkins who has been playing well this season scored the next try which was once again converted by George Waghorn. The forwards played well in the set piece and open play and a special mention must go to the Seb Rushton who has been immense this season, his work rate has been spectacular. Will Good scored the last try of the first half which made the score 21-0 at half time.

The 2nd XV capitalised on their success in the first half and further tries were scored by Jamie Ashford, George Waghorn, and Will Stam had a golden period scoring three tries in quick succession. The final score was 52-0 and our man of the match was Seb Rushton who is developing into a very good rugby player. Louis Skelton and Toby Hoare were also outstanding in the forwards.
