The RBC U15As had an exciting game against a strong Leighton Park side, before progressing, by 34 runs, into the cup semi final against Bradfield.

Blue Coat lost the toss and were asked to bat. The boys made steady progress in the first 8 overs, scoring at a consistent 6 an over. Henry Waghorn was the first to depart for a 'run a ball' 21. At this point RBC pressed the accelerator, with Jamie Seddon, 65, and Harry West, 40, scoring the bulk of the runs. Blue Coat finally set a, highly challenging, total of 183 for 6 from their allotted 20 overs.

Leighton Park had 3 exceptional batters at the top of the order and after 10 overs, were above the required run rate, with only 1 wicket down. Ollie Lancaster and Henry Waghorn each bowled their 4 overs during this period and managed to stem the flow of runs. Ollie bowled exceptionally well and finished with figures of 1 for 21 and Henry finished with 1 for 30. This started to build the pressure and each of their star batsmen fell to excellent catches from Jamie Seddon, Harry Martin and Jake Bains-Gillespie. Tom Branch, Jake Baines-Gillespie and Felix Johnston mopped up the tail, leaving RBC the victors by 34 runs.
